Study related information - Scholarship - international phase

 
IMPORTANT: 
If you have started your studies with the national phase in the Global Business Master Program you need to complete at least 20 ECTS before the international phase. If you have less ECTS you are not eligible for the scholarship.
Nominated students have automatic access to the JKU scholarship as long as they fulfill the requirement above.

Administrative steps:
  1. As you are going to 2 different countries you need to fill out the registration for scholarship for each country. Application deadline is November 1.
  2. Please log in with your JKU student ID#. Link for registration: 
  3. Please select the form "Austauschprogramme: Stipendienantrag".
  4. In order to receive the scholarship you need to fulfill all program requirements while you are abroad.
  5. Upon your return you need to write a short report, upload your transcripts and certificate you receive in the end of the international phase to the online system where you registered. Please find the link above.
In case a student does not fulfill any of the above mentioned steps, eligibility for the scholarship will be lost. If the student does not upload all necessary documents upon return, the university has the right to collect the scholarship back from the student.
 
 
Amount of scholarship varies year-to-year, the below data serves only orientation purposes.
  • Travel allowance for both countries: € 300
  • Scholarship for Canada: € 940 at the beginning of your stay + € 235 after submitting all necessary documents.
  • Scholarship for Peru: € 440 at the beginning of your stay + € 110 after submitting all necessary documents.

Upon your return to Austria, you might be eligible for the Merit Scholarship - please check whether the conditions on the website apply to you. The information document is only available in German (PDF document in German incl. requirements). In case you wish to apply for the scholarship, please inform the program management via mgb@jku.at shortly before you leave for the Canadian Module.
