In addition to possessing a comprehensive overview of scholarly knowledge about managing people and organizations in various business and institutional environments, students possess deepened knowledge about concepts, forms, processes of organization as well as recent trends in organization theory and behavior and can apply their knowledge to real-life challenges.

The course includes lecture-style inputs, small group discussions, plenary discussions, and small group work. It aims to sensitize students for different ways of conceptualizing organization(s) and introduces them to practice-, process-, and communication perspectives in Organization and Management Studies.
