Goal of the Course

This master course aims to practice finite element based dimensioning of characteristic polymer components. This will be done by utilizing different material modelling procedures for structural simulations to represent the physical behaviour of certain polymer classes as good as possible. Further, the interlinkage of the manufacturing process and structural performance will be evaluated by state of the art integrative simulation techniques.
